Well done to our senior camogie team who drew with Naas on Saturday in their Leinster League game.

COISTE NA NÓG

Our under-13 hurlers defeated Shelmalier­s in the Leinster League seni final on Saturday in Ferns 4-6 to 2-3 but were unfortunat­ely beaten in the final later that day by Thomas Davis of Dublin.

SENIOR GAA

Our Junior hurlers played Gusserane in league on Saturday but were unfortunat­ely beaten.

Hard luck to Mark and Michael and the Wexford Senior hurlers who bowed out of the National League at semi-final stage last Sunday in Innovate Wexford Park.

LADIES FOOTBALL

Our under-14 Blue team had their first match last Friday evening away to Sarsfields. Following a really well fought battle the girls were unlucky to lose by one point.

Our under-14 Green team had their first match of the season on Thursday evening at Piercestow­n vs St Martin’s. After a shaky first half the girls got into their stride and fought back strongly coming to within just one point of the opposition when the final whistle blew. Well done to both sides on a great team effort.

GAA BOOK

The St Anne’s GAA Club book entitled ‘OCTOBER 2000’, written by Jim Berry, is on sale now in the following book stores in Wexford town:

SOS in Selskar, The Book Centre and Byrne’s Office Supplies on the main street.

It is also available in Byrne’s Office Supplies in Enniscorth­y and Gorey as well as all the local stores in the Wexford area.
