DAY TRIPS – April 17: Few seats are still available for our day trip on April 17 to Mount Usher Gardens Tour on arrival, lunch at own discretion. Tour of Glendaloug­h, Avoca, Roundwood and evening meal in Chester Beatty Hotel Ashford en route home. Cost per person includes coach, entry to Gardens and Evening Meal €50. May 29: Day trip to Malahide Castle and Gardens and visit to the lovely village of Malahide for browsing, Coastal Drive through Howth and evening meal in Glenview Hotel on way home. HEALTH AND WELLNESS TALK - Veronique Noan Rooney will visit the Piercestow­n-Murrintown Active Retired club at 2.45 next Tuesday, April 10, and give a health and wellness talk on the various energy healing modalities used in her practice with her clients and demonstrat­ing some techniques with the group. If there is time she will also talk about dopamine our ‘motivation’ neurotrans­mitter and how to raise your level to keep focused on your goals (personal and profession­al). Everyone welcome to come along to this talk – you don’t need to be a member of club to come along for this talk. Enjoy a cuppa too.
