No insurance or tax discs

Andy McHale of Reedstown, Tacumshane was fined a total of €300 at the District Court in Wexford as the owner of a BMW which had no valid motor tax or insurance disc exhibited.

The judge learned how the car was parked one morning at Ballinaboola where it came to the attention of Garda Edward Widger.

The garda noted the lack of proper tax or insurance discs before impounding the vehicle and issuing postal fines, which were not paid, to McHale as the registered owner.

He was penalised €150 for each offence.
