Hope And Dream run praised
THE organisers of the Hope And Dream walk and run in Enniscorthy – held in early April – were praised for making the event such a success.
Cllr Michael Sheehan congratulated everyone involved in running the event which raised money for local charities. Cllr Barbara Anne Murphy said: ‘2,500 came out. It was a wonderful occasion under the shadow of Vinegar Hill. I think the money will be put to very good use.’
Cllr David Hynes said without the support and enthusiasm of all the entrants the event couldn’t have taken place.
‘A lot of these charities wouldn’t be able to continue without money from events like this,’ he said.
