TIERNAN O’TOOLE, GOREY YOUTH GROUP, PRESENTED BY INSPECTOR PAT CODY

Tiernan O’Toole (15) is a member of the Gorey Youth Needs Group. He was involved in a bad accident when he was young and spent time in Crumlin Children’s Hospital as a result. While there, he was moved by a young girl, aged five, who was suffering from cancer and had no hair. This inspired him to grow his hair for seven years to raise funds and awareness for the Rapunzel Foundation.
