Bingo – Mondays 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. Bus pick up at usual points.

Murrintown Community Centre has facilities for Squash, Badminton, Soccer, Volleyball and Basketball. The centre is also available for hire for children’s birthday parties. We are in urgent need of volunteers for bingo on Monday Nights from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. (once every four to six weeks). Should you have some free time on a Monday evening and are willing to volunteer please contact the community centre at 053 9139328.

DRINAGH MUMMERS

At a recent meeting of the Drinagh Mummers, a vote of sympathy was passed to the Hayes family of Kilmannon on the death of their father Jim. Also to the Stammers family of Kilmannon on the death of their father Tommy. Both men served with the Drinagh Mummers for many years and are greatly missed. May they Rest in Peace.

MUSIC EXTRAVAGANZA

A Music Extravaganza takes place at Stafford’s of Tulllicanna on Sunday, May 6, with music from 4 p.m. till late. This is a night not to be missed as there are a number of bands performing on the night with all proceeds from this unique event going to the Hope Cancer Support Centre, Enniscorthy.
