SYMPATHY

Sympathy is extended to the Power Family on the sad death of Phyllis, who passed away on April 1 at her residence in Killillane, Kilrane. Phyllis was a native of Rosslare Harbour, being a member of the Rossiter family and was a very outgoing and sociable lady. She was involved with the Sea Scouts and Tidy Towns for many years.

A large crowd attended her funeral Mass in St Ruan’s Church, Kilrane and afterwards was laid to rest in St Aidan’s Cemetery.

Phyllis is mourned by her husband Terry, children Kevin, Caroline, Susan, Helen and Eamonn, grandchild­ren, sisters Betty, Mona and Josephine. daughtersi­n-law, sons-in-law, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Phyllis was pre-deceased by her sisters Mary, Teresa and Bernie.

The Rosslare Harbour-Kilrane Environmen­t Group would like to thank those who came along to support our recent coffee morning in Hotel Rosslare, the individual­s and businesses that provided the spot prizes and confection­ary. Your support was very much appreciate­d.

A WEEE (Waste Electric and Electronic Equipment) cage only for small Household electrical goods such as toasters, kettles, electric drills and a container for the recycling of fluorescen­t tubes is situated at the back of the Railway Social Club. It is open on Saturday Mornings between 10.00 and 11.30 a.m., weather permitting. The groups activities can be monitored on their Facebook page ‘Rosslare Harbour-Kilrane Environmen­t Group’
