MAYGLASS NS

Well done to the girls of Mayglass NS who qualifified last week for their first ever Leinster A final in the Spar five a side soccer tournament. Last week they captured the South Leinster title by once again topping their group and accounting for the champions of both Wicklow and Carlow. They will now face three school teams in the Leinster finals on May 10 in the MDL grounds in Navan Co. Meath – the champions of Kilkenny, Dublin and Louth.

As in the South Leinsters the winner of the group will take all and book a spot in the all-Ireland Final in the Aviva Stadium later this month. For now, Navan is the focus. A pupils supporters bus will travel from the school to cheer on our team. Good luck to our panel of Gemma, Caithlyn, Arwyn, Jenna, Clara, Tara, Aoibheann and Ciara from all at Mayglass NS, your parish, clubs and wider community. Your dedication and commitment are a credit to you all and we are behind you all the way.
