CAROREIGH COMMUNITY ALERT

Caroreigh Community Alert will hold a meeting on Wednesday, May 16, in the Old School Caroreigh at 8 p.m.

Garda Jason O’Farrell will be in attendance at this meeting, can each household send one representa­tive to this important meeting.

CAROREIGH NS NEWS

Congratula­tions to our Rackard league hurling team who defeated Scoil Charman by 3-7 to 1-9. If we defeate Kilmore in our next game, we will qualify for the District Final.

Our camogie team began their campaign with a 4-0 to 1-0 win against Ramsgrange. Next up is a game against Barntown.

ROUNDERS – Our boys defeated Rathangan on Friday last while the girls lost narrowly to the same opposition. Nest up Piercestow­n.

SPRING OUTING

Taghmon ICA and Tomhaggard Women’s Shed are joining up for and outing.

We are traveling to Mount Congreve Gardens and Lafcadio Hearn Japanese Gardens in Tramore. Please come and join us in what’s guaranteed to be a day filled with fun and laughter.

The cost is €25 (not including meals). There will be time for coffee and lunch during the day and we will be stopping in New Ross on the return journey for a meal. Those not requiring an evening meal can enjoy light snacks and tea or coffee. The meal option is two courses and tea or coffee for €25.
