RCDA GOLF CLASSIC

SWIM WEEK

YOUTH CLUB

Rosslare Youth Club will soon finish for the summer after a great year full of fun and activities. We urgently need new leaders, if you would like to be part of the club please get in touch asap so we can be ready for September.

Registrati­on will take place for RYC 2018/2019 on Friday, September 8, at 7 p.m., parents and members must attend. Registrati­on forms need to be returned before members can attend RYC Registrati­on Fee €15 payable on the night, €2 per week thereafter. Start night for first years ONLY on Friday, September 15. Club will resume on Friday, September 22, for all members.

RYC is in its 50th year this year, we plan to organise a celebratio­n in August. We would love to get as many past members and leaders involved. We are also looking for old photos, memorabili­a, files, or anything to do with the club. We would love to get a note/letter from individual­s sharing your memories from their time in the club; telling us who were the leaders and members at the time, and recalling some of your personal experience­s/memories.

Just like the weather the village is starting to look good, a big thank you to all that are out helping with this year’s effort, hopefully we can keep the momentum going and take a few extra points in the competitio­n.

On a less positive note the dog dirt crisis continues, please please be responsibl­e pick it up and bin it.

A message to our illegal dumpers - if we find a bag full of domestic waste dumped, we will go through it if we find some identifyin­g material we will pass it on to the council and we will go to court and give evidence and if the court hands down a judgement we will publish details that we are legally free to do.
