The area finals of the Athletic events will take place in the community field in Garrywilliam on Thursday, May 17, registration is at 6 p.m and the events get under way at 6.45 p.m. Admission is €2 for adults and €1 for children. The local committee are asking parents to lend a hand on the evening, as the committee has only a few members, who cannot possibly take on all the activities.
SUMMER CAMP
Bridge Rovers wish to inform all their members that the FAI summer soccer camp is back for six- to 14-year-old boys and girls and takes place from August 13 to August 17 Just book now at summersoccerschools.ie book early as this camp sold out over the last two years.
OPEN DAY
Artraman House is the place to be on Sunday, June 3, when the lovely grounds will be open once again to the public. These fabulous grounds are a sight to behold and the children love to wander around the Fairy garden. Tea and coffee and refreshments will also be available.

Congratulations to Ann Doyle, Ballyvaloo, on being awarded Shelmalier Club person of the year at the recent district awards. Ann is an invaluable and hardworking member of the club and has given many years of loyal service in a number of capacities and the award is a small token of the esteem in which she is held in the club. Best wishes to the Shelmalier club men on the Wexford County senior teams all the best as they begin their championship campaigns, Brian and Glen Malone, Oldtown and Eoghan Nolan Ardcavan (Football) and Simon Donohoe, Curracloe (Hurling).
Congratulations to Luke Roche, who won the internal hurling Féile skills competition and now goes forward to represent the Shelmaliers in the county final. Best of luck to Luke as he tries to retain the title he won last year, before going on to the all-Ireland. The senior footballers had a narrow win over Bunclody this week 1-13 to 2-09.
The junior B hurlers had a solid win over Faythe Harriers this week 2-12 to 2-7 and well done to Shels lads Aodhán Byrne and Tiarnan Malone, who were part of the under-16 County Hurling panel that played Dublin in the Celtic challenge recently.
There was no jackpot winner in the development lotto draw recently. There were two matchthree winners, Paddy Doyle and Mick Redmond, who each received €100. The numbers drawn were 5, 9, 21 and 24.
