Wexford trio feature in Gallagher book
THREE WEXFORD businesses are featured in Sean Gallagher’s new book ‘Secrets to Success: Inspiring Stories from Leading Entrepreneurs’.
Kelly’s Resort Hotel and Spa, DoneDeal, and Kent Stainless are three of 46 Irish businesses in the book and the three entrepreneurs Bill Kelly, Fred Karlsson and Ann O’Brien were honoured at an event in the Mansion House, attended by Sean Gallagher and Minister for Business, Enterprise and Innovation, Heather Humphreys.
Speaking at the launch, the former Dragon’s Den judge spoke about the need to celebrate and support Irish entrepreneurs building global communities, rather than idolising international figures like Richard Branson or Bill Gates.
‘There is little awareness or recognition of these ‘unsung’ heroes at home. Yet, it is these very business owners who are creating jobs for Irish people in areas multi nationals never can.’
