DANCING

Dancing continues in Tír na nÓg every Thursday with music this Thursday, May 24, by the Wicklow Man, and May 31 by Blue Lace. GAA notes

Lotto numbers were 4, 20, 24 and 30. No jackpot winner but congratula­tions to Eamonn Codd, Oisin Ennis and Paddy Sinnott, who were match-three number winners.

Thanks to everyone who got fitted out over three nights over in the complex for our new club gear. Order has now gone through so we are hoping to receive it middle of June.

Bingo continues this Saturday evening at 8.30 in Carrig Community Hall. If anyone would like to help in any way for two hours every six weeks please contact Chris Cummins or David Staunton.

Model County Ticket s are still on sale for the May draw. €20 for the draw contact Pádraig Doyle.

Guess the score for the Wexford v Dublin match was a great success Thanks to everyone who contribute­d their two euro. Thanks also to Gary Sinnott the brains behind it. It’s just a bit of fun for everyone to get behind.

The Junior Ladies had a great win in their Football League match over St Martin’s on Saturday last. Keep up the good work.

A coffee morning in aid of the Irish Cancer society will be held in Carrig-on-Bannow Community center on Saturday, June 2, from 10 a.m. till 2 p.m. Your support is welcome.

BALLYMITTY HALL

Monster Bingo is on Sunday, May 27, at 3 p.m. in Ballymitty Hall. €1,500 in prizes including Special page; €50 one line, €100 for two lines and €150 full house. Raffle and lots of prizes. Tea and sandwiches served.

Volunteers Needed – We are looking for volunteers to join the Ballymitty Hall Fundraisin­g Committee. HORTICULTU­RE SALE

Grantstown Horticultu­re Group will be having a Plant Sale of home grown plants in the next month. No date has been agreed yet but just to keep some spaces free in your garden.

PUBLIC LIBRARY

The Mobile Library will be in Grantstown Daycare Centre on Wednesday, May 30, from 3.10 p.m. to 3.40 p.m. If you would like to join Wexford Library, membership is free. You can pick up an applicatio­n form here in Grantstown Daycare. It’s not just books you can borrow from Wexford Library, it’s e Books and e Audiobooks. If you’re already a library member, you can reserve a book for collection from the Mobile Library.
