Wexford Motor Show is a great opportunity to see the huge range of new vehicles

-

THE Wexford Motor Show has been a huge success over the last few years and the 2017 event will be even bigger, providing a shop window on all the new models available in Ireland.

This year the show will be held on Saturday, June 2 and Sunday, June 3, on the Quays in Wexford Town and the organisers are hoping the spell of fine weather will continue, attracting record crowds.

And whether you are looking for a new 182 model or are interested in the cars of yesteryear, there will be something of interest to all.

The show provides a perfect opportunity for you to browse your prospective new car and view the various competing models side-by-side rather than having to travel from showroom to showroom.

The location is perfectly suited to this type of event and it is expected that over 20,000 people will visit the show.

This is the sixth year of the event and it has always been a family day with great fun attractions for the kids.

The show will have the biggest motor business participation in the country this year, with 21 franchise dealers and 27 brands represented on the day.

This is a great opportunity to see the huge range of new vehicles available in the Irish market, while having a family fun day. The organisers said they wanted to thank all sponsors, both local and national, who make this event happen.

The charities on the day are the RNLI, Down Syndrome Ireland and the Special Olympics.

The show is organised by the local Motor Retailers and The Society of the Irish Motor Industry with support from Wexford local authorities, the Gardaí and the Road Safety Authority.

This year’s show will feature:-

160 new vehicles and 100 vintage sports and classic cars.

100 light Commercial vehicles.

The Road Safety authority will provide their Road show vehicles as part of a Road Safety Awareness campaign on the day.

The Wexford Food Family and their artisan food offering.

There will be a family entertainment area with music, clowns, Disney characters, face painting, a climbing wall and kids area.

Free giveaways during the day.

Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5pm, Sunday from 12 noon to 5 p.m.

The event is free to all the family.
