CHILD IS APPROACHED BY A MAN NEAR PUBLIC TOILET IN KILMORE QUAY
GARDAI IN Wexford town are investigating an incident that occurred in Kilmore Quay during which a man is believed to have approached a child close to the public toilets in the village.
The incident happened on Saturday, June 2, at around 3.30 p.m. and a spokesperson for the force confirmed to this newspaper that an investigation is currently underway into the matter.
‘An investigation is taking place in relation to an incident that occurred at Kilmore Quay, near the public toilets, where a child is believed to have been approached by a male,’ said the spokesperson.
The man is believed to have been driving a red coloured car and there are unconfirmed reports that an attempt may have been made to get the child into the vehicle.
