Kilmokea Gardens and Bespoke B&B

THE Hewlett Family opened their Gardens & Bespoke B&B over 20 years ago. Kilmokea is a hidden gem set on the banks of the River Barrow on Great Island just outside Campile south of New Ross. As you drive towards the stunning Hook Peninsula, Kilmokea is situated off to the right and well signposted.

It is all hands on deck with the Hewlett’s. Mark is the breakfast chef & excellent story teller front of house while Emma manages their staff, operates the office, cooks dinner & is the in-house Aromatherapist. Their three boys, Joshua, Myles & Cosmo all lend a hand and are very helpful with both Garden Visitors & House Guests. Joshua is incredibly interested in the Garden, helping Ciaran the Head Gardener. He is also the Sommelier serving wine to guests in the evening.

Kilmokea has gone from strength to strength over the past 20 years with awards of excellence and many very happy guests. Organic produce is the offering for Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner. Lunch, A la carte is served in the Garden Conservatory for both garden Visitors & House Guests while a table d Hote menu is served in the main diningroom in the evening.

House guests enjoy the luxury of the indoor heated swimming pool, Jacuzzi & Sauna as well as being offered Aromatherapy treatments throughout their stay. Two self catering options in the Coach house & Garden Suite offer families space and privacy for weekly lettings.
