Did not pay for fork­lift hire

FORK­LIFT Cen­tre Ltd. of Walkin­stown in Dublin had two wit­nesses at the Dis­trict Court in Wex­ford seek­ing pay­ment of €4,133 claimed from Ir­ish House­hold Brands Lim­ited, Bal­ly­tra­mon Busi­ness Park, Castle­bridge.

Ap­pli­cant com­pany fi­nan­cial con­troller Sean Houli­han gave ev­i­dence that the re­spon­dent firm, which was not rep­re­sented, hired two fork­lifts in April of 2016. They were re­moved from Castle­bridge the fol­low­ing Septem­ber af­ter only two small pay­ments were forth­com­ing.

With no con­test­ing ev­i­dence to con­sider, Judge Ger­ard Haughton made out a de­cree in favour of Fork­lift Cen­tre Ltd. for the full amount sought, plus le­gal costs and €200 ex­penses.
