The Stables Fitness and Wellbeing in Gorey, is delighted to launch their inaugural chip timed Trail Run and Obstacle Course – the ‘Steeplecha­se’. There is a choice of a relatively flat 5km route and more challengin­g

8km route with nice climbs and fast descents. Runners of all levels are encouraged to come and try something a little different. Early bird tickets are available at thestables.ie/bookings.

SHEDFEST 2018.

This year’s much anticipate­d Shedfest will take place at the Arena, Buffers Alley. The line up includes Cornerboy, Fit for Kings, No Hot Ashes, and DJ Katie Quaid. Tickets are €20 and will be on sale from club members, The Book Café in Gorey, Murt Walsh Menswear in Enniscorth­y, Wexford Arts Centre, Hammel’s Kilmuckrid­ge, Porter’s Killenagh and Lawless’s Monamolin.

KENNEDY CHALLENGE RUN

The inaugural Kennedy Challenge run, taking in the Kennedy Homestead in Dunganstow­n near New Ross, takes place at 5 p.m. There is a choice between a 6km and a 12km run and runners of all ages are welcome. Registrati­on is in Horeswood GAA complex at 4 p.m. for the fundraiser for the club. Refreshmen­ts, tea and cakes will be served afterwards. There are prizes across several categories. Wrecking Ball are playing at a barbecue celebratio­n afterwards in the club’s indoor arena.
