GAA NOTES

Two games tonight (Tuesday) under-13 footballers play Buffers Alley at 7.30 p.m. in Monamolin. The Junior B hurlers play last year’s league final opponents St Patrick’s at home at 8 p.m.

On Sunday the junior footballers play St Patrick’s away in the league at 11.30.

The junior footballers lost by just a point to Kilanerin/Tara Rocks in the league recently 1-9 to 1-8. Declan O’Leary with the Blackwater goal.

The under-13 hurlers lost to Glynn-Barntown last Wednesday in the championship.

Ciaran Cash played with the St Peter’s first year team which lost the first year Leinster football final against Good Council.

Best of luck to Tomás Murphy, Patrick O’Connor and Feidhlim Roche with the Wexford minors this weekend in the Leinster Minor quarter finals.

A reminder to the parents of all boys born in 2012 and 2013 that said they were available for the blitz day on Sunday, June 17, that the club have entered a team in the Cushinstown tournament.

Under-7 training continues on Thursday along with training for 4-6 year olds at 6.15. New members are welcome. As well as hurling and football there are plenty of games for kids to enjoy.
