GOLF CLASSIC
Thank you to everyone who participated in or sponsored the recent golf classic. The nonGUI winners were Adam Nolan, Darren Nolan, Seán Liddy and James Sheridan. In second place were James Carthy, John Furlong, John Ross and Ger Healy. In third place were Tomas Dunne, Barry Woulfe, Tony Kinsella and Pat Kelly. In the GUI section Mick Clark and his team were winners, closely followed by Phil Redmond, Dennis Morton, S. McDonald and Seán Hallahan. The Longest Drive was won by John Somers and Teresa Kehoe.
FUNDRAISING
Well done to Joan Kavanagh and friends, who organised a Tractor Run and Fun Run/Walk in the Ballagh recently and raised over €1,300 in aid of Alzheimers sufferers. The cheque was handed over in Bob’s Bar last week.
COFFEE MORNING
Joan Kavanagh and friends are holding a coffee morning in the Crosses, Kilmuckridge on Sunday, July 15, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., in aid of ‘Touched by Suicide’. Admission is only €3. There will be Door Prizes and a raffle.

ANNUAL PATRON
The patron in the Ballagh will be held, as usual, on the first Sunday of July, commencing at 2 p.m.
FIELD DAY
The annual field day will take place in the church grounds immediately after the patron on July 1. Anyone with bottles for the bottle stall, baking, jam, bread, fruit etc for the Home Produce stall, buns for the tea tent or any other donations can bring them to the church or community centre before or after Mass on Saturday evening or Sunday morning. Your support is vital to the success of the field day and the organisers thank you in advance for your generosity.
PHOENIX ARCHERS
We are an archery club shooting under the governing body Archery Ireland. We are open to new members from eight years old to 100 years young. We shoot both indoors and outdoors for training and competitions.
Our current indoor venue is based in Ballymurn Hall. We train on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
