Early booking for Oyster Lane

-

DUE TO unprecedented demand for tickets, Oyster Lane Theatre group has provided an early booking system for tickets for their upcoming show ‘Michael Collins – A Musical Drama’, which will be performed during the Wexford Fringe Festival.

The group secured the rights for the critically acclaimed show in April and recently announced their cast, just prior to the AIMS Awards in Killarney. A number of names set to take to the stage in October were victorious with other groups on the night while Greg O’Leary, Oyster Lane’s stage manager was runner-up in his category.

Chris Currid will take on the title role, having won Best Male Singer at the AIMS Awards with Avonmore Musical Society. Eamonn De Valera will be played by Seán Hendley, who won Best Comedian with Teacher’s Musical Society. James Dobbs, who will play Joe Emmet, won a Best Comedian award for his role in ‘All Shook Up’ with Enniscorthy Musical Society.

Booking is available online through the Oyster Lane Theatre Group Facebook page and through their website oysterlane.com. The show runs nightly at the Dun Mhuire Theatre at 8 p.m. from October 22 to 27.
