Woman did not pay for dog’s bed
A 43-YEAR-OLD mother-of-two who walked out of Heatons without paying for a dog bed was dealt with by the District Court sitting in Wexford.
The goods taken by part-time cleaner Sheila McGrath of 13 Walnut Grove, Wexford were never recovered.
Solicitor Ed King said his client had no explanation for what happened assured the court that compensation had been paid to the shop.
Judge Kevin Staunton observed that the accused appeared to be decent and hard-working before allowing her the benefit of the Probation Act.
