Woman did not pay for dog’s bed

A 43-YEAR-OLD mother-of-two who walked out of Heatons without paying for a dog bed was dealt with by the District Court sitting in Wexford.

The goods taken by part-time cleaner Sheila McGrath of 13 Walnut Grove, Wexford were never recovered.

Solicitor Ed King said his client had no explanatio­n for what happened assured the court that compensati­on had been paid to the shop.

Judge Kevin Staunton observed that the accused appeared to be decent and hard-working before allowing her the benefit of the Probation Act.
