Fined €100 for speeding on motorway

RACHEL Sweeney (32) from 6 Hunters Court, Coolcotts, Wexford incurred a fine of €100 after the District Court heard that she was caught driving at 142 km/h on the M11 motorway near Gorey.

The offence dated back to last November and Judge Kevin Staunton allowed four months for payment of the fine imposed in the absence of the accused motorist.
