Piercestown

PATRONS

The Piercestown patron will take place on Friday, August 3, in the graveyard (weather permitting) at 7.30 p.m. The Murrintown patron will take place on Sunday, August 5, at 2 p.m.

PARKS TENNIS

Registration for Parks Tennis Camp for player’s aged 6-16 takes place at St Martin’s Courts on Friday, June 29, from 12.30 p.m. to 1.30 p.m. This year’s programme runs from Monday, July 2, and bookings are taken for the two, three or four-week period.

ADULT TENNIS

Tennis doubles for adults will take place every Tuesdays at St Martin’s - beginners from 6.30 p.m. to 7.30 p.m. All other grades from 7.30 p.m. to 9 p.m. New players and former members welcome – pay-as-you-go only €2 per session.

ARA CLUB NEWS

Coach Tour to Kenmare August 27: A meeting to collect all balances for this trip will be held in St Martin’s Centre on Thursday, July 12, at 7.30 p.m. – Price €280 and SRS is €15 pp. Thank you to everyone who has booked to travel. See you on the 12th.

Holiday to Spain: All travelling to Spain with above group on October 12 – there will be a meeting on August 1 at 7.30 p.m. in St Martin’s Centre to collect balance of trip which must be paid by August 3 to tour operator. Total cost €579 half board basis. See you all on August 1.

CARNE SWIM WEEK

Carne Swim Week will take place from July 16 to July 21. This is run by Wexford Water Safety. All levels from Swim 1 to 10 and Safety 1 to 4 will be catered for. Registration on Monday the 16th at 9.30 a.m. at the Lifeguard Hut, Carne Beach. Any enquiries or to book please contact Sinéad at 087 6559323.
