THANK YOU

A big ‘thank you’to all those that supported the very successful fundraising quiz night held in the Merry Elf Killinick during the past week. The night would not have been the success that it was without the support of Paul and his staff of the Merry Elf, the generous sponsors, those that took part in the quiz on the night and the hard working committee. The proceeds raised on the night are going to the Cancer Relay for life Wexford fund.

FOOTBALL ACTION

A badly depleted St Fintan’s football team suffered a heavy defeat at the hands of Duffry Rovers in a Div.3 All County Football league semi-final game played in Coolree during the recent past. The teams cause was not helped by the dismissal of two players during the course of the game. The sweltering conditions were difficult enough to endure and starting without two key members but the loss of the two players during the game itself made it an almost impossible task. Those that did start gave of their all but sadly it was not to be on this occasion.

DRAW

The June draw of the CLG Club and County Draw was held during the past week but failed to yield a win for those members of the St Fintan’s club that supported it. This was the final draw in the series of three.
