Second win for Gorey as they hit Rathnure for six

Division 3

Gorey Rangers got their second win on the board as they hit Rathnure for six without reply on Sunday.

Marc Flanagan and Dillon Dixon both netted doubles, while Kevin Kavanagh and Stephen Hempenstal­l added a goal apiece.

Shamrock Rovers chalked up their second 2-0 win in succession as they saw off Bunclody, with Jack Carroll and David Kearney hitting the back of the net for the Enniscorth­y outfit.

St. Joseph’s have also made a bright start and they edged out Wexford Celtic by the odd goal in seven, with Alan McDonagh, Seán Furlong, Gary O’Leary and Callum O’Reilly scoring for the winners and Luke Codd, Dylan Redmond and Matt Duffy replying for Celtic.

Graham Dunne, Keith Casey and Joe Hyland got the goals for Enniscorth­y Town as they overcame Raheen 3-2, with Frank Staples and Dylan Whitty replying.

Ian McGuire and Elliott Malone hit the back of the net for Wexford Albion, with Keith Donnelly and Damien O’Grady scoring for Duncannon as they drew 2-2.

Division 3A

Oylegate United have six points from their opening two games after earning a 3-0 win over Corach Ramblers on Sunday.

David ‘Blondie’ O’Brien scored from the penalty spot, while Anto Doyle and Barry Dunne completed their tally.

Wexford Bohs went on a scoring spree as they overwhelme­d Bridge Rovers 8-0, with Aaron Lambert and Dermot Flood both netting hat-tricks and Craig Kelly and Ryan Byrne adding a goal apiece.

Lee Donohue, Lee Pettit, Seán Stewart and Danny Ennis got the goals for Rosslare Rangers as they ran out 4-0 winners over Fethard Rangers, while Paul Walsh and Glen Murphy got on the scoresheet for Ballymurn as they beat All Blacks 2-1.

Anthony Hayes (two) and Keith Murphy got the goals for Forth Celtic as they saw off Ajax Athletic 3-2, with Liam Moore and Jamie O’Grady replying for the Enniscorth­y men.

Division 4

Gorey Celtic have started their Division 4 campaign as if they mean business, and on Sunday they got their second win under the belts as they beat The Ballagh 5-1.

Jakub Konkel was the star of the show as he hit the back of the net four times, while Edmunds Prudskojs got their other goal.

Courtown Hibs also made it two wins from two as goals from Adam Ellard, Liam Condren and Oisín Condren earned them a 3-1 win in Crossabeg, with James Carley replying for the hosts.

Colm Beasley (two) and Mick Stephens got the goals for Kiltealy Celtic as they edged out Carne 3-2, with Denver Kinsella and John Walsh replying for the seasiders.

Kevin Doyle bagged both goals for Rosbercon, with Peter McSweeney replying with a double of his own as Rosbercon and Camolin Celtic drew 2-2.

Elsewhere, Campile United picked up three points as they were handed a walkover from Curracloe.

Division 4A

St. Joseph’s are on maximum points after two games as they eked out a Division 4A win over Caim United on Sunday.

Joey’s prevailed 3-2 thanks to goals from Brendan McCreary (two) and Pa O’Brien.

St. Leonards overcame Enniscorth­y Town 4-1, with Eric Egan and Lee Lennox both netting doubles and Andrew Dempsey replying.

Craig Foley and Mick Walsh both bagged braces for Enniscorth­y United, with Billy Millar and Ryan Murphy also getting in on the act as they overwhelme­d Cloughbawn 6-1.

Jack McMillan netted both goals for Tombrack United as they edged out Killenagh 2-1, while Dale Reilly hit the back of the net for Rosslare Port in their 1-1 draw with Castledock­rell.

Division 5

Wexford Bohs look like the team to beat in Division 5, following up the previous weekend’s 6-0 triumph with a 5-1 win over Ajax Athletic on Sunday.

Beau Brennan (two), Gary O’Brien, Deccie Broaders and Jonathan Conway all got on the scoresheet for the winners.

St. Cormac’s are also going along nicely and they beat Cushinstow­n by the same scoreline, with Jimmy Sweeney (two), Nathan Dickson, Liam Walsh and Ondreig Pavalaka scoring for the saints and Conor O’Neill replying.

Aidan Mahon (two), John Keane and Danny Farrell got the goals for Bunclody as they overcame Shamrock Rovers 4-2, with Ger Foley and Seán Giltrap hitting the back of the net for Rovers.

New Ross Town edged out Enniscorth­y United 3-2, with Craig Wickham and Anthony Feeney (two) scoring for the winners and Gary Miller responding for United.

Ferns had an own goal and a Wojciech Waligora strike to thank for a 2-1 win away to Wexford Celtic, with Daniel Mullins scoring for the hosts.
