SPORTS CLUB 30TH

The committee of Galbally Sports and Leisure Club would like to invite you to a meeting to discuss hosting a suitable event to mark the occasion of the 30th Anniversar­y of the Galbally Sports and Leisure Club. The meeting will take place on Tuesday, September 25, at 7.30 p.m. We look forward to seeing you there.

BINGO IN BREE

Bree Youth Club would like to thank everyone who attended the bingo in Bree recently. They will be holding a bingo every second Tuesday in Garry Byrnes at 9 p.m. starting on October 2.

GALBALLY MASS TIME

The time of Saturday Evening Vigil Mass in Galbally has been changed to 6 p.m.

BREE YOUTH CLUB

The first disco will be held on October, fifth in Taghmon Community Centre. A text will be going out to parents in the coming days. Please reply as places are limited on the bus. Well done and thanks to Nicholas Delahunty, Mark Rodgers, Mark Delahunty and Shane Roche, who represente­d the club in the Dancers and Chancers event at the weekend.

FITNESS CLASSES

‘Smart Fitness’ Keep Fit, Exercise and Kettlebell Circuit Classes have returned to Galbally Community Centre. Tuesdays at 7 p.m. with a Cardio Blast Class, Tone and Tighten Thursdays at7 p.m. and ‘Feel-Good Friday’ morning’s at 10 a.m. Cost: only €7.50 per class or €13 for any two. Suitable for all ages, male/ female and all classes include a mix of bodyweight, core and kettlebell exercise.

All levels of fitness are catered for, classes are accessible for total beginners and advanced athletes. Contact Collette at 086 3927655 for further details or message Facebook @Smart Fitness with Collette.

RUN FOR CRUMLIN

Jonathan Doran of Kereight is running in the SSE Airtricity Dublin City Marathon on October 28 in aid of Crumlin Children’s Hospital and would appreciate support. He has a sponsorshi­p page set up online which can be accessed via cmrf.org/user/jonathan-2 or Jonathan has sponsorshi­p cards.
