Chair Yoga with Eileen Rowe commences today, Tuesday, September 25, at 11 a.m. in Butler’s Lounge and every Tuesday. Clothes Collecton
Broadway School parents’ association are having their annual autumn Clothes Collection. All clothes, towels, bed linen, curtains, shoes (tied together), handbags and belts can be placed in black bags and left in the school between 9.30 a.m. to 2 p.m. from Monday, October 15, till Wednesday, October 24. No pillows, duvets or quilts. All donations are greatly appreciated.
SPLIT-THE-POT
Congratulations to Billy Kavanagh, Buncarrig on winning €157 in last week’s split-the-pot draw. Draw now takes place in Parochial House after Sunday Mass.
ST PAUL’S AC
The first Open Cross Country of the season was Hosted by Taghmon AC ladt Sunday and we had eight young athletes competing. Congratulations and well done to all. Mini Girls: – sixth Clare Stafford. Under-8 girls: – first Lucy Stafford, fourth Ruth Stafford. Under-8 boys: Fifth Ronan Looney, seventh Tadhg Wright under-9 girls: – third Catherine O’Leary under-10 Grirls: – third Tosia Spiczak under-10 boys: – fourth Artem Kelly.
Saturday was the Kilmore AC 10km Road Race and Johnny Kelly and Yvonne Cloney competed. Congratulations and well done to all athletes.
Training continues in the Field at Kilrane National School Mondays and Wednesdays.
