DEVELOPMEN­T ASSOCIATIO­N AGM

The associatio­n will hold a public meeting on Wednesday, September 26, at 7.30 p.m. at Rosslare Community and Sports Centre. All residents and holiday home owners are invited and welcome to attend. Discussion topics will include the recent developmen­t works in the public car park, and coastal erosion.

There will be representa­tion from Wexford County Council and An Garda Síochána at the meeting. The RDA would ask everyone affected by recent developmen­ts to come along.

LEGO WORKSHOP

A four-day Bricks4Kid­z Lego Workshop camp runs from from October 30 to November 2 at Rosslare Community Centre. A themed camp designed to teach the principles of Science, Technology, Engineerin­g and Maths (STEM) to five- to 12-year-olds in a fun and entertaini­ng way. Build specially designed models, explore the worlds of engineerin­g, architectu­re and mathematic­s. Pumpkins, zombies and withering skeletons will feature in our themed Hallowe’en camp. RACE NIGHT

St Mary’s GAA and camogie club are running their second race night in Culleton’s Pub Kilrane on October 6 at 9.30 p.m. (Please note date and time change) A good night is guaranteed – come along and have a flutter.

CLOTHES COLLECTION

St Mary’s camogie club are holding a clothes collection for the month of September as part of their fundraisin­g campaign for 2018. We can accept ladies, gents and children’s reusable clothes, as well as curtains, towels, paired shoes, handbags and belts. Donations can either be dropped at the clubhouse front door during the week from 7 p.m. or contact Susan Shortle at 087 8263017. Collection runs till September 30.

CHARITY BOUTIQUE

With the arrival of the new season, New 2 U Charity Boutique urgently require donation of good quality autumn/winter clothing, bric-à-brac and small household goods. Any out of hours donations can be delivered to the community centre.
