The following refreshing note was received from one of the schools pupils, Ruby O’Connor. ‘On September 25, I donated over 14 inches of my hair to the Rapunzel Foundation to be made into a ‘Freedom Wig’ for children in Ireland, who have no hair. I was inspired by my brother Theo, who has also been growing his hair for the last two years to donate to the Rapunzel Foundation. I hope to inspire others to do the same because it is a good cause’. Amazing and very thoughtful and generous. Well done, Ruby.

The fifth and sixth class boys won both their matches by a large margin in the Mini 7’s tournament in a lovely show of sportsmanship and determination on Wednesday of last week at the Coolcotts pitches. Well done to all. The girls began their tournament last weekend. The boys won their Rackard League game against Blackwater and progress to the next stage. Hard luck to the girls who lost their match.
