After the summer break the weekly Card games are starting back in Tacumshane tonight, Tuesday, October 9, at 8.30 p.m. Look forward to welcoming back all our card players.

CHAIR YOGA

Chair Yoga with Eileen Rowe continues every Tuesday at 11 a.m. in Butler’s Lounge.

GAA BINGO

The weekly GAA bingo in Butler’s continues every Tuesday at 8 p.m. The jackpot stands at €450 with two game book costing just €8 to play. We also have half books for sale too plus our ever popular ‘Split the Sheet’ interval game. So, why not give a friend or neighbour a shout and join us for an hour or so, you never know, but you might come away with a little profit.

KILRANE TOPS CONCERT

Kilrane/Rosslare Hbr. Cast Concert this Wednesday, October 10, at 7.30 p.m. in St Patrick’s Church, Rosslare Harbour. Special guests George Lawlor, Tony Carty, Fintan Cleary, Martina Keane, Jimmy Kelly and KRH Tops cast members. A beautiful night of song and music. CLOTHES COLLECTION

Broadway School Parent’s Assoc. are having their annual autumn Clothes collection.

All clothes, towels, bed linen, curtains, shoes (tied together), handbags and belts can be placed in black bags and left in the school between 9.30 a.m. and 2 p.m. from Monday, October 15, till Wednesday, October 24. No pillows, duvets or quilts.

All donations are greatly appreciated.

SPLIT-THE-POT

Until the community centre becomes available the split-thepot draw and ‘cuppa’ will be held in the Conservatory of Parochial House after Sunday Mass. Congratulations to Vivienne Kschinka on winning €120 in last week’s split-the-pot draw.

BALLYCOGLEY PLAYERS

We have been busy performing our comedy sketches recently, on Sunday, September 30, we were part of a variety concert in Camross Hall and on Thursday last, October 4, we took part in a fundraiser in aid of Rathangan Variety Group in the Rathangan Bar. Two great nights of entertainment. Thanks to the committees of both groups for inviting us along.

Rehearsals are going very well for our one act comedies which will be staged from Thursday, October 25, to Sunday, October 28, in St Michael’s SVDP Hall, Thomas St, Wexford. As always, keep an eye on our Facebook page for all the drama news.
