Parking offenders handed stiff fines
PARKING fines of €400 apiece were handed down by Judge Miriam Walsh at the District Court to the registered owners of offending vehicles:
Aislinn Wallace of 12 Whiterock Lane, Wexford – parked on double yellow lines in Anne Street on April 28;
Heatec Plumbing Contractors Ltd, of Seaview, Saltmills, New Ross – no valid tax disc exhibited at Abbey Street on May 16;
David Castanho of 17 Grange Mor Park, Rosslare Strand – conventional vehicle parked at an electric charging point at Abbey Street on May 19;
Colm Mahon of 44 Cois Mara, Rosetown, Rosslare Strand – no valid parking ticket at Rowe Street on June 5;
Paula Curran of 8 Roche’s Terrace, Wexford – no valid parking ticket at Roche’s Road on May 25;
Michael Redmond, the Bungalow, North Slob, Curracloe – parked on double yellow lines at Mount George on May 26;
Nash Minibus & Coach Hire Limited of Deerpark, Horetown, Foulksmills – parked on double yellow lines in Abbey Street on June 13;
Mary Cash of Old Factory House, Ballycanew – no valid parking ticket at South Main Street on July 10;
Dermot Murphy of Monasoutha, Camolin – parked at O’Rahilly Place without displaying a current tax disc on April 28.
Each offender was ordered to pay €150 in costs to Wexford County Council.
