HANDBALL CLUB PARTY

Ballymitty Handball Club are having a Party night at Tír na nÓg on Thursday, November 1, music by Art Supple Band. Hot food, sandwiches and cakes served. Raffle with some super prizes and Spin the wheel plus Door prize and spot prizes throughout the night. Admission only €7. All in aid of the new Handball Alley.

COFFEE MORNING.

The Kitchen staff at Grantstown Daycare Centre will be hosting a coffee morning and cake sale on Sunday, November 4, from 11 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. Come along for a cuppa, a chat and some delicious freshly baked confection­ery. You can order your cakes, puddings and mince pies for Christmas on the day.

BEGINNERS YOGA

Eternal Beginners Yoga is starting Tuesday, November 6, from 7 p.m. to 8.30 p.m. in Grantstown Daycare Centre. €10 per class or €85 for 10 classes. Contact Sorcha at 087 7022262.

GAA CLUB NEWS

Lotto draw this Tuesday evening with a jackpot of €8,600 to be won. BALLYMITTY HALL AGM

The Ballymitty Hall AGM will take place on Thursday, November 8, at 8 p.m. in Ballymitty Hall. Update on the progress of the planned new hall will be provided on night. All welcome on night, please come along and show your support if you can.

SAD PASSING

Deepest sympathy to the Quigley family on the death Jack last Monday in Wexford hospital. Jack was late of Whitty’s Hill and beloved husband of Carmel and brother of Pat, Babs and Aidan. Sadly missed by his loving family sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

He reposed in Ryan’s funeral home Wellington­bridge on Monday and Tuesday with removal at 7 p.m. to the Church of Mary Immaculate and St Joseph Carrig-on-Bannow. Funeral Mass was on Wednesday the 24th at midday, burial afterwards in Kilcaven cemetery. May he rest in peace.

We are on the hunt again for old photos or anything of interest for next year’s Journal. If you have anything please drop into any committee member or to Nicola in PO. A selection of Journals for certain years will be available for free in Bannow PO this week.
