HALLOWEEN PARTY

This Wednesday, October 31, there will be a Children’s fancy dress zombie walk and disco in the Community Hall from 3.45 p.m. to 6 p.m. €3 per child.

YOUTH CLUB

Our Lady’s Island Youth Club will start back this Friday, November 2. Anyone from first years up are most welcome. Looking forward to seeing you all.

STORY NIGHT

There will be a Storytelli­ng Night in Tacumshane Old School, this Friday, November 2, at 8.30 p.m.

Come along, sit back and enjoy the talent, music, song and storytelli­ng. Tea, coffee and cakes at interval. A great night’s entertainm­ent promised.

CRAFT FAIR

A Christmas Craft Fair will take place on Friday, November 23, in Tacumshane Old School from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Christmas crafts. gifts, knitting and sewing, local jewellery, art and Photograph­y, Woodwork, Christmas wreaths and logs, tea coffee and home baking and much more.

SPLIT-THE-POT

Until the community centre becomes available the split-the-pot draw and ‘cuppa’ will be held in the Conservato­ry of Parochial House after Sun. Mass. Congratula­tions to Ciarán Hearne on winning €92 in last week’s draw.

GAA CLUB GEAR

The last order for club gear before Christmas will be placed with O’Neills tomorrow, October 31. Please contact Suzanne at 087 9598158 to place order and arrange payment. Half zips, T-shirt, fleece hoodies, full zip hooded jackets, skinny bottoms, socks, knicks and gear bags are all available to purchase. Images of items are posted to ur Facebook page.

GAA FIXTURES

Our under-15 boys will contest their delayed football final tonight in Patrick’s Park at 7.15 p.m. Your support as always is very welcome. Good luck to all players and mentors.

Our under-20 footballer­s, as part of the Bargy and Forth Gaels, will line out this Saturday at 3 p.m. against Oylegate-Glenbrien with a home venue still to be confirmed.
