David and Conor share top award
HIGH ACHIEVING students at the CBS Secondary School recently received awards to mark their excellent results in the Junior Certificate exams for 2018.
This year, the prestigious Coláiste Eamonn Rís Tony Boland Award was presented to two students who excelled in their exams; David Kelly and Conor Keane both received silver medals to acknowledge their hard work.
The awards ceremony was held at the Riverbank House Hotel.
School principal Michael McMahon commended the students on their great work ethic, thanking their parents as well saying that their hard work in helping the boys to make it through the exam process often went unnoticed. The evening is a celebration of the students’ achievement and a night of encouragement for them as they face into the demanding Leaving Cert years.
