CHRISTMAS PARTY

Our annual senior citizens Christmas party takes place on Saturday, December 22, at 2 p.m. in the Heritage Park. Anybody wishing to attend should please contact Ben Doyle at 086 8893268. All ages very welcome – no age restrictio­n.

CHRISTMAS BAZAAR

Join us on Sunday, December 16, at 11 a.m. in Glynn Hall for our Christmas Bazaar. Wreaths, bottle stall, bric-à-brac, Christmas Raffle and much more. See you there.

GLYNN NATIONAL SCHOOL

Split-the-pot: Darrell White is the latest lucky winner, scooping €203. The final split-the-pot before Christmas will be in Declan’s on Sunday, December 23. Be in to win.

2019 Calendars: Many thanks to Alan Roche, who has kindly produced a calendar with images of Glynn and the surroundin­g area. Remember Storm Emma. They are for sale for €10 – €6 of which goes to the school fundraisin­g effort. They make a perfect Christmas gift. A preview of the calendar is on the school website. CALENDARS

2019 Calendars are on sale now for in the parish office and also in the church. There are some lovely pictures of the church inside and also the grounds outside. It would make an ideal Christmas. Get yours early to avoid disappoint­ment. Great value at €5 each or three for €10.

CONCERT AT BARNTOWN CHURCH

Wexford Male Voice Choir with special guests, Wexford Ladies Choir will perform in a Christmas Carol Concert on Friday, December 14, at 8 p.m. in Barntown Church.
