How our four leaders are getting on with their training regimes

Hi Liam here, So into our 4th week now and not only have my energy levels and sleep improved I’m starting to see the difference on the scales and in my clothes also which gives me extra motivation. The training is tough going but you feel so good about yourself after getting out there and doing it. We had pilates on Tuesday night with Jane in wexford pilates studio which I’m finding very good and this Sunday all the leaders are doing the 5k run in Ballymurn.

Kevin gave us all some great advise last week told us it was all about finding an exercise we like to do and trying new things so that’s exactly what I done!
I went to Pilates on Tuesday with Jane Kennedy and will have classes with her for the next 6 weeks. I went to boxercise in Sacre Coeur boxing club Thursday night with Helen and Theresa and really enjoyed it big thanks to Micheal Roche in there and everyone on the night for going easy on us on our first night and making us fell so welcome, definitely be back every Thursday night. Saturday I managed a 7k walk/ run and Sunday I was back to the Waterfront Pool. We are all getting ready to do a 5k run this coming Sunday. Thanks to everyone for their support! HELEN RYAN
On Monday during my 4 mile run I managed to run 1.5 miles without stopping to walk, which I was delighted with. On Tuesday evening we were all with Jane in Wexford Pilates studio, I really enjoyed it and was great to get
stretching after all the training over the previous days. On Thursday night Caroline and myself tried out a boxercise class at Sacre Coeur boxing club in Enniscorthy where Mike Roche put us through our paces! It was tough but very enjoyable! DENISE FARRELL
I found that I was very motivated this week. I have got into a good routine with the exercise plan and I am finding it easier every time I go to the gym. Legs are still sore ha but definitely getting better. We started Pilates with Jane in belfield this week. It was absolutely brilliant. Great for your core but great for your head also. I am finding it hard to sort my food intake out. I find I’m good all day but still picking in the night. Hard to break that habit. I am going to focus on my food this week.
