House ransacked by burglars

GARDAÍ are appealing for the public’s assistance in tracking down those responsible for a break-in at a house in Murrintown last Tuesday.

The incident took place at around 12.50 p.m. at a property at Redshire, Murrintown. It is believed that the perpetrators may have gained access to the property through a rear kitchen window and proceeded to ransack the whole house, pulling out drawers and rummaging through wardrobes.

Gardaí believe that those responsible could have been disturbed in the act as, at this stage, it appears that nothing has been taken. Nonetheless, they are keen to speak to anyone who may have information and are asking them to call Wexford Garda Station on 053 9165200 or the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666111.
