Shock at the death of young man

WEXFORD has been shocked by the sudden death of Stephen Darigan of Garycleary, Crossabeg, who passed away unexpectedly on Sunday.

A son of the well-known Wexford artist Paddy Darigan, Stephen was aged in his mid-twenties and is survived by his father, his mother Maria and his brothers Paul, Jason and David and by his extended family and many friends.

He will repose in Mulligan’s Funeral Home today (Tuesday) from 2 p.m. until 8.15 p.m. when funeral prayers will be held.

Funeral prayers will take place in the funeral home on Wednesday at 11 a.m. followed by removal to St. Patrick, St. Brigid and St. Killian’s Church in Crossabeg for funeral Mass at 12 noon. Burial will take place in the adjoining cemetery
