ONE-ACT PLAYS

In conjunctio­n with Corach Ramblers the Ballycogle­y Players will perform three One-act Plays in Carrig-on-Bannow Community Centre on Sunday, November 10. Entertainm­ent kicks off at 8 p.m. so come along and enjoy a night of fun and Craic. Refreshmen­ts served at the interval. Your support on the night would be greatly appreciate­d cake sale.

On Friday, October 25, at 11.30 a.m. Teach na nÓg Preschool are holding a cake sale in the preschool to raise funds for our outdoor area. If anyone is interested in making buns or cakes please contact Mary at 051 561773 or at teachnanog@gmail. com. We hope to see you there.

GAA CLUB NOTES

Lotto numbers were 3, 7, 16 and 30. The club had two matchthree winners well done to Florence Currid and M Walsh c/o Car Wash. The jackpot remains at €14,000 while the reserve pot rises to €3,800.

The Ladies’ Football committee are organising a clothes collection from Tuesday, October 29-Monday, November 3, at 8 p.m. in the complex. They will take clothes, paired shoes, handbags, belts, hats and scarves, suitcases and backpacks. They WONT take pillows, duvets, cushions, teddy bears, kids toys or bed linen. Our under-17 boys’ Football team came up against a strong Adamstown squad in their county semi-final. Many thanks to the boy’s and their Mangement team of Jack Harpur, John O’Sullivan, Ken Foley and trainer David White. CORACH RAMBLERS NEWS

It was a busy weekend for the underage and adult teams. The under-12 girls led the way with a comprehens­ive 6-0 win with the under-13 following with a 5-0 friendly win.

On Sunday both the men’s A and ladies’ teams faced North End Utd. Richie Walsh saved another penalty but the lads lost 1-0. The ladies had a great game but finally lost 2-0. However, the B team won 2-0 to move themselves up the table.

On Sunday night Tomas Colfer picked up €515 in the clubs splitthe-pot. Thanks to all our supporters and supporting premises.

MUSICAL SOCIETY

The Little Sea Musical Society are holding a table quiz in Tír na nÓg, Wellington­bridge, on Tuesday, October 29. All welcome more details to follow.
