SUCCESSFUL CONCERT

St Martin’s Conference of SVP would like to thank Valda Choir and Piercestown Church Children’s choir for their beautiful and very successful concert on Monday, December 9, which raised over €800. A special word of thanks to Liz McGuiness who organised it, to Heather Boxwell leader of the choir and to Ruth Miller on keyboard and to all who gave so freely of their time and talent. The Children’s choir enchanted everyone with their drama and singing. Great credit is due to their trainers Liz, Eimear and Mary.

We are also very grateful to everyone who contributed so generously to our church gate collection which raised €2,975 and to Piercestown Scouts, who held a Food Hamper collection.

All this will enable us to carry out our work of helping families at Christmas and during the winter months.
