NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING.

Rosslare Harbour-Kilrane Village Developmen­t Team wish to inform the community of the Rosslare Harbour-Kilrane/St Helen’s electoral area that the annual general meeting of the team will take place on Thursday, January 30, at 7.30 p.m. Venue will be notified at a later date. Motions shall be served on Maeve O’Brien secretary c/o the Resource Centre (email address) not later than 5 p.m. Thursday, January 23.

ACTIVE RETIREMENT GROUP

The annual general meeting will be on Tuesday, January 14, at the Railway Social Club at 3 p.m. A Committee Meeting will take place at 2 p.m.

A great big thank you to all those who supported our Christmas party on Wednesday, December 11. A great time was had by all. Our thanks to the management and staff of the Coast Hotel, Rosslare Strand for the superb meal and service. A big thank you also to Maguires Hardware, Murphy’s Supermarke­t, Lloyds Chemist, Coast Hotel, and all of those who contribute­d prizes, for their much-appreciate­d support. LAGOONS PUBLIC MEETING

A public meeting on lagoons in Co Wexford will take place in the community centre, Our Lady’s Island on January 14 at 7.30 p.m.

The meeting will address water quality issues in the Wexford Lagoons Catchment and follows on from consultati­on on the draft River Basin Management Plan in 2017.

The Local Authority Waters

Programme will be undertakin­g work gain a better understand­ing of what is happening in the Wexford Lagoons Priority Area for Action. Informatio­n on plans for this area will be made available at the public meeting.

This is a new approach to water quality management in Ireland. Come along to the meeting and hear how you too can get involved.

ST MARY’S GAA LOTTO

The lotto was not won €9,850. The numbers were 8, 18, 21 and 27 on January 7. No match-three winner. Lucky-dip winners Caroline Morrissey, Adrienne Larkin, Rosie MC Kenna, Stephen Wilde and Anita Ryan. Next draw is next year January 14 in the clubhouse at 8 p.m. and is €10,000. Tickets are €2 and can be bought off all Managers, players, committee and places around the parish.
