CORACH RAMBLERS

The under-14 girls started off the year with a great 1-0 win against Tombrack Utd. Another Sarah Bennett goal sealed the win but a great team performance ensured the opposition didn’t get a chance to draw.

The ladies also had a great 1-0 win v Adamstown to open up a small gap at the top of the table. Niamh Millar scored a crucial penalty to take the points home.

Both men’s sides bowed out of the Wexford cup on differing scorelines. The B sides bowed out to a stronger team – Enniscorthy Town – but the A side were left with a series of ‘what ifs’ after two missed penalties saw them lose to Rosbercon. Despite Consie scoring they just couldn’t bridge that gap.

Finally, Sharon Sinnott was the lucky winner of €725 in our weekly split-the-pot draw. Thanks to you all yet again.
