Division 4

Rosslare Rangers moved to the summit of Division 4 after netting a magnificent seven without reply against St. Joseph’s.

Ryan Meyler contributed a hat-trick, Jason Ellard added a double, while Jamie Tomkins and Bernard Patten grabbed a goal apiece.

Third-placed Kiltealy Celtic got another three points on the board when edging out Corach Ramblers 2-1 on the road.

Corach level with 20 minutes remaining.

However, Somers had the final say, grabbing his second to earn Kiltealy the spoils.

Cloughbawn ran out convincing 5-2 winners over Caim United, with Willie Murphy, Tommy Cogley, Owen Furlong and Callen Morrissey hitting the back of the net for the winners, before Dean Horan sealed the deal with a strike from 30 yards that flew into the top corner of the net.

Division 4A

They say all good things must come to an end, and Enniscorthy United’s brilliant winning run did on Sunday when they met a determined The Ballagh United outfit.

The Enniscorthy side had won ten out of ten before the weekend, but The Ballagh hadn’t read the script, with Martin Og Storey (two),

Noel Dempsey, Anthony Roche and Garrett Sinnott getting their goals in a 5-3 victory. Ryan Dwyer (two) and Jamie Fox replied.

St. Leonards chalked up a 3-0 away win over Killenagh Wanderers, with Matty Flynn bagging a double and an own goal adding to their tally.

Division 5

Glynn Barntown dented Camolin Celtic’s title hopes when overcoming the leaders 2-1 on Sunday.

An own goal put Glynn Barntown in front in the first-half and Dylan Lyne doubled their advantage after the interval, and although Camolin pulled a goal back they couldn’t force an equaliser.

Shelburne United picked up three points thanks to a 4-1 win in Adamstown, while Tommy O’Rourke (two), Mark Morris and Fran Farnan got the goals for Ajax Athletic as they beat Wexford Celtic 4-3 in Sinnottstown Lane.

Elsewhere, Fastnet Rovers edged out Tombrack United 3-2.
