ROSSLARE TIDY TOWNS

We would like to wish All candidates in the forthcoming General Election All the Best in their Campaigns.

Unfortunately the bulk of the posters are made from single use plastic and are certainly not kind to the planet.

For those who decide to use posters we would respectfully ask that they are put in place securely also that they will be removed, together with the cable ties, within seven days of the Polling Day as set out in the Littering Act 1997 and 2009. Failure to do so can lead to an on the spot fine of €150.

All posters must have the name and address of the printer and publisher printed on the front, again failure to have this information could result in Court proceedings and potential substantial fines.

We do wish to be as co-operative as possible in recognising the traditional use of posters but we are moving towards a Poster Free Village, meanwhile we ask for the co-operation of all candidates.
