Duncannon win the battle of the seasiders

Division 3

Duncanon moved up to second place in the Division 3 table thanks to a convincing 4-0 triumph away to fellow promotion hopefuls Rosslare Strand on Sunday.

Aaron Curry, Callum Gamble, Jason O’Grady and David Donnelly all hit the back of the net for the impressive winners.

Killenagh Wanderers secured their first victory of the campaign, winning 4-1 away to Forth Celtic. Billy Dunne, Andrew Leacy, James Kavanagh and Martin McDonagh all got on the scoresheet for the visitors, with Keith Murphy on target for Celtic.

Division 3A

Fethard Rangers moved to the summit of Division 3A after a five-star display against Courtown Hibs on Sunday.

Rangers raced into a 3-0 advantage before the interval thanks to a Jean-Luc-Tubritt double and a Seán Foley strike, and second-half goals from Graham O’Grady and Joe Sutton wrapped up a convincing 5-0 victory.

Wexford Bohs netted a magnificen­t seven without reply against Rosbercon United, with Aaron Donovan bagging a brace and Robbie O’Connor, Luke O’Neill, Emmet O’Connor, Jessie Farrell and Dominic Maher adding a goal apiece.

Ballymurn Celtic earned the local bragging rights by edging out Oylegate United 3-2 thanks to an Eoghan Kehoe double and an own goal.

Elsewhere, a Theo Doyle double earned Crossabeg a 2-2 draw away to Fastnet Rovers.

Division 4

Kiltealy Celtic moved to the top of the Division 4 table after a 6-1 away win over Carne on Sunday.

Ferns United and Cloughbawn shared the spoils after a 1-1 draw, with Anthony Dwyer scoring for United and Stephen Kennedy replying.

Bridge Rovers continued their good recent form with a 3-1 away win over Caim United, with Eoin Crosbie, Mark Browne and Steven Carr scoring for the winners.

Division 4A

St. Leonards moved to the top of Division 4A on Sunday after overcoming Enniscorth­y Town 4-1.

Matty Flynn (two), Tommy Byrne and Tarique Ngouto got the goals for the saints, with Alfredu Barbu replying for Town.

Killian Ronan, James Finn, Niall Beggan and Mark Morris all got on the scoresheet for Castledock­rell as they ran out 4-2 winners over Curracloe United.

Shamrock Rovers and Campile United came away with a point apiece after a 2-2 draw on Sunday.

Ryan Heimsoth bagged both goals for the Enniscorth­y side, with Shane Banville and Ben Cummins hitting the back of the net for Campile.

Division 5

All Blacks joined Camolin Celtic at the top of Division 5 after fighting back to see off Enniscorth­y United on Sunday.

United took a 2-0 advantage through Nick Roche and Jimmy Molloy, but the hosts didn’t let their heads drop and ran out 5-2 winners thanks to a four-goal haul from Mark Sinnott and an Alex Clarke strike.

Glynn Barntown earned a 6-3 win over Fastnet Rovers after a topsy-turvy contest.

They held a 5-0 advantage thanks to two Matt Joyce freekicks, a Bill Joyce double and a Jordan Molloy strike.

Rovers then pulled three goals back, before Jamie Crean had the final say for Glynn Barntown.

Tommy O’Rourke (two), Aaron Balfe and Ross Wilson got the goals for Ajax Athletic as they overpowere­d Adamstown 4-0.

Tombrack ran out 6-4 winners away to Wexford Celtic, with Josh McMullen and Jamie Murphy both scoring doubles for the visitors, and James Kavanagh and Conor Kehoe chipping in with a goal apiece.
