Couch to 5k programme continues every Tuesday night at Hollymount, with Operation Transforma­tion also taking place at 7 p.m to help anyone wanting to lose weight, get fit and active. There are weekly fitness plans, nutrition advice, measuremen­t in private and group sessions. Why not kick start 2020 and head on over to the Shelmalier­s GAA Club.

CARDS

Weekly winners of the partners 45 in Hotel Curracloe were Donal O’Leary and Willie Cullen. Cards continue every Thursday night at 9 p.m and all are welcome.

SPLIT-THE-POT

Congratula­tions to the recent winner in the Curracloe school split-the-pot draw, Mossy Hall, who won €99.50c. Envelopes are on sale in all the local Curracloe businesses as well as the school for €2 for one draw, six draws for €10 or 12 draws for €20. The next draw will take place on Wednesday, February 5.

COMMUNITY DEVELOPMEN­T MEETING

The annual general meeting of the Castlebrid­ge Community Developmen­t Co-Op will be held on Monday, February 17, at 8 p.m in Castlebrid­ge community centre. All are most welcome. The AGM is an opportunit­y for anyone in the Castlebrid­ge community to go along and find out what the Co-Op does and how you can get involved in making positive changes that benefit the whole community.
