The group is going on a trip to Mayo from May 25 to May 28 2020, three night stay in Breaffy House Hotel. Cost €240 per person sharing, single upplement is €20 per night. The cost includes coach pick up, return (use of coach for the three days), and dinner each evening. POLLING STATION CHANGE

PLEASE NOTE – Change of venue for voting in the General Election on Saturday, February 8, will be in Blackwater Parish Hall AND NOT in Blackwater National School.

GAA NOTES

Well done to Tomas Murphy, who scored a first half hat trick with St Peter’s College on Wednesday against local rivals Good Council to send them on their way to the next round of the Senior Football Championsh­ip.

Well done to under-nine hurler Seán O’Leary, who won a draw to be the Wexford teams mascot against Clare in the first round of the league.

ART AND CRAFT WORKSHOPS FOR CHILDREN

Children’s Art and Craft classes for aged four to nine years are taking place in Ballygarre­tt GAA Complex for six weeks, starting Saturday, February 15, and continuing till March 21. Time: 10 a.m. – 12.30 p.m.

Classes will also commence for children aged 10 to 13 years and these are taking place in Ballygarre­tt GAA Complex for six weeks, starting Saturday, February 15, and continuing till March 21. Time: 2 p.m. to 4.30 p.m.
