The Ballagh Boxing Club will benefit from the bingo that will be held in Bob’s Bar, The Ballagh, starting on Tuesday, January 14, at 9 p.m. Your support would be greatly appreciate­d.

OPERATION TRANSFORMA­TION

Oulart-The Ballagh GAA Club, through its Healthy Club Officer, Breda Flood has signed up, once again for the RTÉ Operation Transforma­tion ‘Ireland Lights Up’ that was so successful in 2019. Beginning on Monday, January 13, and continuing till February 24, the lights at the Upper Pitch will be on Monday nights from 7 p.m. till 8.30 p.m. to enable walkers/runners to participat­e. People are asked to sign-in so that the numbers taking part can be recorded.

BAPTISMS IN OULART

Oulart and Ballaghkee­ne Baptism dates for 2020 have been published and will take place on Saturdays at midday or 4 p.m. Three weeks’ notice is required. Applicatio­n forms are available from P Lacey for the Ballagh (086 3030492) and M Davis for Oulart, Tuesdays 9.30 a.m. to 5 p.m., phone 053 9136139.

BINGO IN OULART

Bingo is held in Oulart Community Centre every Sunday night, beginning at 8 p.m. Books are €10 with valuable cash prizes. The jackpot now stands at more than €400. We would ask as many people as possible to support the bingo because not only does it act as a fundraiser, it is also a great way of making and meeting friends and parishione­rs for a chat.

GAA/CAMOGIE REGISTRATI­ON.

There will be a Club Registrati­on night on Tuesday, February 4, from 8.15 p.m. to 9.30 p.m. in Oulart Community Centre. All players and intending club members of the GAA Club and camogie club are invited to come and register on the night. If you have any queries please call Liz Freeman at 087 7560871.
