ACTIVE RETIREMENT

The next meeting of Bree ARA will be held in Bree Community Centre on Wednesday, February 19, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. The afternoon activities will include bingo, a raffle and tea.

BALLYHOGUE DINNER DANCE

Ballyhogue GAA Club and Ballyhogue Ladies’ Football Club dinner dance takes place on Friday, February 28, in the Riverside Park Hotel at 8 p.m. Music is by Denny Davitt and the Heartbeats. Tickets cost €30 and available from Melissa Dawson 087 9627866.

MACRA 60TH ANNIVERSARY DINNER

The Bree Macra 60th Anniversary dinner dance is taking place in the Riverside Park Hotel, Enniscorthy on Friday, March 27, Tickets are €35 and are available from any committee member. For more information please contact 087 7660602.

GALBALLY RUN/WALK

Galbally Sports and Leisure Club will host its second 10k run and 5k walk on Sunday, March 15.

The event will begin at 1 p.m., with sign-in taking place from midday onwards. Entry fee is €15 for the 10k run which will be chip timed, and €5 for the 5k walk (not chip-timed). There will be prizes for the first male and female, first under-16 and under-12.

Refreshments will be served to all participants in the hall afterwards. Online registration for the 10k run can be made on Eventbrite.ie. Everyone is invited to come along and get involved in what promises to be a great community event.

YOGA CLASSES

Yoga Classes with Grace have resumed in Bree Community Centre Dance Studio on Mondays at 8.15 p.m. and on Thursday mornings at 10.15 a.m. Suggested donation per session is €10.
